North Center offers excellent accessibility with convenient rapid transit stations nearby, including Irving Park, Montrose, and Addison on the Brown Line, as well as several bus lines with stops close to residences. Montrose Avenue is among the most animated streets in this neighborhood. Most areas in North Center are reasonably quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor, although there are still several louder areas, especially closer to one of the railway lines.
